The stepanov growth of LiNbO 3 crystals
Abstract
The growth of shaped LiNbO 3 is described; the growth being controlled by a two-stage cooling process. The ferroelectric domain sizes of these crystals could be produced and varied by growing the crystals in a polarizing field and periodically varying the pulling rate.
