The decrease in the ozone content in the spring Antarctic stratosphere during the 1980s
Abstract
The results of measurements of the total content and vertical distribution of ozone in the Southern Hemisphere during 1980-1985 are summarized. The structure of the ozone hole is described as well as its time and space variations. Reasons for this phenomenon are considered and various dynamical and photochemical models are analyzed.
