Open-cavity resonator as high-Q microstrip circuit element
Abstract
A simple method of coupling an open-cavity resonator mode to a microstrip line is described. An effective Q of several thousand is expected well into the millimeter-wave range. Experimental results from an X-band model are compared with theory.
