The behaviour of separation line and singular points on the separation line
Abstract
The distribution of singular points along the separation line is studied in this paper. It is pointed out that there are four elemental forms for all separation lines. The open separation line, the closed separation line, and the separation line connected directly to the vortex are studied. It is proved that the saddle points and nodal points along the separation line appear alternately; i.e., two saddle points (or two nodal points) cannot directly connect each other along the separation line.
