The short-period photometric variability of four Be stars.
Abstract
The authors present results of intensive photometric monitoring of the Be stars λ Eri, ω Ori, 27 CMa and 28 CMa for two seasons. They confirm the periodicity of λ Eri previously obtained from radial velocity observations, but the amplitude is very low. They find ω Ori and 27 CMa to be new short-period variables. The former has a well-defined double-wave light curve of large amplitude. The authors could not detect any definite periodicity in 28 CMa, but the star was very active over a time scale of a few days.
