Ferroelectric optically controlled millimeter-wave devices
Abstract
New materials were tested at cryogenic temperatures for use as modulators, phase shifters and beam steerers of millimeter wave radiation. Cryogenic cooling drastically reduced the absorption and allowed measurement of large electro-optic coefficients at frequencies between 60 and 110 GHz.
