Streak technique in detonics
Abstract
Methods and techniques developed to allow the study of complex phenomena in detonics are presented. Different types of streak cameras and streak recording techniques are given. The measurement of the velocity of detonation, of the times of arrival of a detonation front at a surface, and of profiles are discussed. The combination of several streak techniques, the simultaneous streak and framing records, and the computer analysis of streak records are outlined.
