Digital correction MTI system
Abstract
The correction system described here has the following advantages: the echoes are corrected by the transmitted signal sample to achieve coherence to some extent; the interpulse frequency instabilities can be compensated; the amplitude fluctuations can be removed by the amplitude normalization processing; and a stable crystal oscillator can be used to replace COHO in order to eliminate the effect of COHO lock and drift. If a highly stable local oscillator and a large dynamic range linear receiver are available, an improvement by a factor of more than 40 dB can be achieved.
