The ECCM improvement factor (EIF) - Illustrative examples, applications, and considerations in its utilization in radar ECCM performance assessment
Abstract
The ECCM Improvement Factor is a means for representing the performance of an ECCM in the analysis of the efficacy of a radar in an ECM environment. This paper gives illustrative examples of equations for the EIF of representative ECCMs. Extensive discussion is devoted to use of the EIF in radar performance assessment as part of a weapon system.
