Radio signals mutual relations index
Abstract
Signal correlation measures are reviewed, including the mutual resolution coefficient, the compatibility coefficient, and the probability of successful communication. A new measure called the signal distance index is introduced which is expressed, in the simplest case, by the probability that the value of a given signal feature (e.g., the envelope level) exceeds a specified interference value. Examples of the application of the new measure are given.
