Boundary layer flow in axial compressors (theoretical part)
Abstract
A general differential equation is introduced into a set of conservation equations. The mathematical reprocessing of the fundamental equations for the numerical process is represented using this equation. The transformation of the equation into a general curvilinear coordinate system is explained in detail. The theoretical principles that are necessary for the automatization of the process of net generation are presented. Difficulties associated with net generation are discussed. The solution algorithm for the numerical simulation of flow computation is presented. The algorithm for net generation transformation and flow computation is explained using flow schemes.
