Dynamical Spacetimes & Numerical Relativity, 1986
Abstract
Analytical and numerical cosmological models are examined in reviews and reports. Topics addressed include calculating axisymmetric gravitational collapse, relativistic stellar dynamics on the computer, nonlinear gravitational waves and inhomogeneous cosmologies, vacuum axisymmetric cosmologies, and initial data for blackhole collisions. Consideration is given to gravitational radiation in a Schwarzschild geometry and quasinormal mode of a black hole, gravitational radiation induced by a particle moving in Kerr geometry, algebraic computing in relativity, and synergism between numerical and analytic relativity.
