Electrodynamic characteristics of horn antennas
Abstract
Numerical methods of diffraction theory are used to calculate the electrodynamic characteristics of horn antennas with an aperture size of the order of the wavelength. The characteristics investigated are the currents and fields in the antenna, the radiation patterns, and the antenna scattering patterns for an arbitrary illumination field and an arbitrary load.
