Calculation of linear functionals of solutions of a certain class of axisymmetric problems of electrodynamics
Abstract
A system of functions admitting an explicit computation of integral transforms is constructed. This system is then used to develop a method for calculating the linear functionals of distributions of surface charges, electric currents, and magnetic fluxes on planar annular inhomogeneities in axisymmetric problems of electrostatics and electrodynamics. Calculations are made of the capacitance of a planar metal ring and of the conductivity of an equivalentcircuit shunt in the case of E01 and H01 wave diffraction by an annular aperture in a diaphragm placed in a circular waveguide and in the case of TEM wave diffraction by a jumpwise change in the radii of the conductors of a coaxial waveguide.
