A generalized method for calculating local heat transfer on the wall of a plane duct impacted by a system of jets
Abstract
A method for calculating local heat transfer on the wall of a duct, with a system of jets injected through it, which allows for the hydraulic characteristics of jet flows inside ducts is demonstrated experimentally. A universal relationship for local heat transfer is obtained which is valid over a wide range of parameters, with and without a transverse flow. The effect of various factors on the intensity of heat transfer in the case of jet injection into the duct is analyzed.
