An evaluation of the accuracy of a simple inertial system in the case of random changes in operating conditions
Abstract
A method for evaluating the accuracy of an inertial navigation system is proposed which allows for reversible and irreversible changes in the operating conditions at random moments of time. Changes in the operating conditions are described by a continuous-time Markov chain. It is assumed that these changes are associated with repeated switching on and off due to the stochastic nature of the navigation conditions.
