A correlation between the compton wavelength and the de Broglie wavelength
Abstract
It is pointed out that the Compton wavelength λ C plays the same role in relation to matter-waves in 4-dimensional space as does the de Broglie wavelength λ D with respect to matter-waves in 3-dimensional space. In fact, it has been shown that λ C is the 4-dimensional-space analog of λ D (which is defined in 3-dimensional space). Implications of this correlation are also discussed.
