Distributive iteration for indefinite systems as smoothing method in multigrid process on example of Stokes and NavierStokes equations with emphasis on incomplete decompositions
Abstract
An iterative procedure for the solution of large linear equation systems is presented. As distributive process, a generalization of quadratic methods associated with distributive GaussSeidel procedures are investigated. This method constitutes an efficient solution for smoothing of multigrid methods applied to Stokes equations and steady state and incompressible NavierStokes equations.
