On the nature of CH Cygni radioburst.
Abstract
An analysis of the observations of CH Cyg at the moment of decrease of the hot component's brightness has shown that with decreasing of bolometric luminosity due to reduced accretion rate of the cool component's matter the hot component's effective temperature and Lc-quanta flux are increasing. Accordingly, at the minimum brightness the hot component begins to ionize noticeably the circumstellar gas envelope of CH Cyg (R ≈ 2×1015cm, ne ≈ 2×105cm-3). As a result the angular size of the H II region is increasing and the 15 GHz radio flux from CH Cyg is reaching 35 mJy.
