Comparison of experiment and theory in a synchronously mode-locked dye laser
Abstract
The detuning characteristics of a synchronously mode-locked dye laser are studied in detail using a synchronously-driven ("Synchroscan") streak camera. The results are in good agreement with sets of steady-state profiles obtained from a simple computational model.
