Photometric Study of V361 Lyr: a "Hot Spot" Between the Components of a Binary System?
Abstract
The variable star V361 Lyr was investigated on 328 Sonneberg plates, taken between 1963 and 1985. Times of extrema were derived for 7 seasons of observations, and an upper limit of |P/P| < 8×10-8yr-1 was derived, four times more than the theoretically predicted value. A model is proposed, intermediate between the models of W Ursae Maioris and cataclysmic variables.
