An experimental study of a CO2 amplifier with a mirror using degenerate four-wave interaction
Abstract
The possibility of developing a system consisting of a two-pass CO2 amplifier and a mirror using four-wave interaction in an endogas with an output energy of 30 J and an angular radiation divergence of 4.4 x 10 to the -4th rad for the 0.5 energy level is demonstrated. The interrelated energy characteristics of the four-wave mirror and of the amplifier are investigated. The model inhomogeneities introduced into the signal beam are shown to be partially compensated.
