Molecular absorption bands formation in a multilayer atmosphere. I. Density distribution of photons by specific path lengths.
Abstract
The problem of determining the distribution of photons by specific path lengths in a multilayer scattering atmosphere is considered. A method based on the use of invariance principles is suggested for its solution. In particular, a multilayer atmosphere overlaying the surface with given albedo is considered.
