Characterisation of strontium hexaferrite for millimeter waves applications
Abstract
Measurement techniques and results for the linewidth of 94-GHz magnetic and dielectric resonances at 77-300 K in flux-grown SrFe12O19 single crystals are discussed. Results for the anisotropy field at 300 K, the magnetic linewidth between 90 and 100 GHz, and the dielectric resonance between 90 and 100 GHz, and their variations with temperature, are presented. It is found that the intrinsic mechanisms contribute significantly to the measured linewidths in the mm-wave range.
