Frequency shift in a line center stabilized CO2 laser
Abstract
A shift in frequency of 3.5 MHz from the rotational line center has been observed in a power-stabilized CO2 laser operating on the P(14) line. The shift was observed during long baseline interferometry experiments and is due to gain depletion by competing rotational levels.
