Saw-based 100 MHz-bandwidth adaptive filter
Abstract
The design and operation of a wideband adaptive filter which uses a 350-tap SAW/FET programmable transversal filter are reported. The SAW/FET device incorporates surface-acoustic-wave signal propagation in conjunction with a field-effect-transistor controlled sampling array. The adaptive processor uses a digital computer to calculate the tap-weight updates and achieves up to 25 dB of adaptive CW cancellation.
