New frame synchroniser for satellite-switched time-division multiple-access systems
Abstract
A new frame synchronizer for satellite-switched time-division multiple access (SS-TDMA) systems is described. This synchronizer minimizes false alarm and misdirection by incorporating an adaptive and optimum window width control strategy. The proposed system is well suited to a microprocessor-based form of implementation and offers a practical and flexible frame synchronizer for SS-TDMA systems.
