A bi-directional high-power cell using large-signal feedback control with maximum current conduction control for space applications
Abstract
The advantages of bidirectional current flow power-cell principle and large-signal state feedback control are demonstrated in the application of the 'SMART' (Standard Multiple Application Regulator Topology) power cell to a battery regulator unit. Large-signal analysis and the mathematical model are described together with the results of a practical simulation.
