The Popigai crater was formed by the impact of an ordinary chondrite
Abstract
The content (ppm) of Ni, Co, and Cr in tagamites and gneisses of the Popigai astrobleme was determined on the basis of quantitative spectral and atomic-absorption analyses. It is found that the ratios of exogenic 'meteorite' components in the tagamites of this astrobleme are closest to such for ordinary type-L chondrites.
