Transportable satellite earth terminals
Abstract
This article describes the new Marconi Type P7020 Transportable Satellite Earth Station. Performance, and characteristics of the various elements of the earth terminals are given, with special attention being paid to the elliptical antenna which is of unique design. Uses to which the terminals may be put are discussed and mention is made of other terminals in the Marconi range of transportable systems.
