A compact pyroelectric vidicon camera with stable picture using orbiting optical element
Abstract
A pyroelectric vidicon camera system using orbiting optical element is proposed. The fundamental principle of orbit imaging is analyzed. The motion equations and the trace of the thermal image on the vidicon target are derived. Basic principles for selecting parameters in system design are indicated. The main factors affecting tracking precision are discussed in detail.
