High performance pyroelectric vidicon
Abstract
A high-performance pyroelectric vidicon which has the spatial frequency of 220 TV lines per raster height at a temperature difference of 0.5 C has been developed. A new technology is employed, making a thin target with thickness of 12 microns, a low-beam-temperature laminar-flow gun, and a proper secondary-emission layer.
