Reynolds-number dependence of temperature structure functions in turbulent shear flows
Abstract
Moments, up to the sixth order, of the temperature structure function, are obtained over a large Reynolds number range. Comparison with predictions by the lognormal and Β-models indicates significant disagreement for moments of order six.
