Digital processing of holographic interferograms on the basis of moire effects
Abstract
Algorithms for the digital processing of holographic interferograms on the basis of moire effects are described which make it possible to visualize the first and second derivatives of the phase-distortion field, to double the number of interference bands, and the narrow them. Procedures for the filtering of moire picture are presented. Examples are given which demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms for reference interferograms as well as for real interferograms with a significant noise level. Images illustrating the proposed approach are presented.
