Characteristics of the automated digital processing and recording of holographic interferograms
Abstract
The problem of the optimization of the parameters and principal elements of a holographic measuring system is examined with reference to a study of residual stress distribution. Algorithms are developed for the combined processing of two interferograms obtained during the study of plane specimens using a holographic interferometer. The errors associated with the input and processing of interferograms using the algorithms developed here are assessed, and ways to reduce these errors are discussed.
