Fixation-free methods in bleached reflection holography
Abstract
Recently, good reconstructions from bleached reflection holograms, which are rehalogenated without fixing, have been reported. In this paper the properties of those holograms, such as diffraction efficiency, signal-to-noise ratio, and spectral response, are investigated. The holograms are recorded on Agfa-Gevaert 8E75 HD plates with a He-Ne laser, and the processing conditions to optimize their properties are determined by considering the hologram formation mechanism.
