Temperature measurements in sooting flames by optoacoustic laser-beam deflection
Abstract
The use of optoacoustic laser beam deflection (OLD) as a nonintrusive technique for determining temperatures in sooting flames is described. The utility of using soot as an acoustic source for OLD temperature measurements in sooting flames is discussed. A comparison of OLD and Kurlbaum temperatures is made.
