Characteristic actionsh ^{(s)} in the structure of the universe
Abstract
The authors suggest that gravitationally bound systems may be characterized by a set of actions hbar^{(s)} given by the equation hbar^{(s)}= hbar^{s/6}(2π GH_{0}^{2}/c^{5})^{(s6)/6} where s is a characteristic scale parameter (restricted to integer or 1/2integer values, with 0 ≤ s ≤ 6); c, the speed of light; hbar, the ordinary Planck's constant/2π; G, the Newtonian gravitational constant; and H_{0}, the Hubble parameter evaluated at the present cosmic time (= t_{0}).
