Data extraction and accuracy in surveillance radars with A-MTD processing
Abstract
Data accuracy and detection performance of a latest-generation MTD processor are evaluated. Special attention is paid to the effect of frequency agility and diversity on azimuthal accuracy and on the extraction of unambiguous Doppler (i.e. radial velocity) data. In particular, the probability of ambiguity resolution and the accuracy of the unambiguous Doppler frequency are evaluated in various conditions, including target scintillation.
