Relaxation oscillation in the light pulse of amplified spontaneous radiation emitted by single-mirror Cu/CuBr laser
Abstract
Relaxation oscillation in the light pulse of the amplified spontaneous radiation emitted by a single mirror Cu/CuBr laser is reported for the first time, and the spatial and temporal distributions of the light pulse intensity of the amplified spontaneous radiation are also measured. It is found that the intensity distribution is comparatively uniform and the spatial coherence of the amplified spontaneous radiation is better than that of the Cu/Br laser.
