Numerical calculations of swirling flow in combustor
Abstract
N-S equations are used to describe the injection of swirling gas, considered as an unsteady axisymmetric turbulent flow. Velocity and streamline distributions of various swirl number flows are computed. The turbulent coefficient is calculated by the S-G-S model. A comparison between the results computed by the method of this paper and the results computed by other methods shows the advantage of a few cells, good accuracy, and convenient computation.
