Vorticity with variable viscosity
Abstract
While the Lakshminarayana and Horlock (1973) generalized expressions for secondary vorticity, using intrinsic coordinates, are useful in complex flows, some of these equations retain viscosity within various derivatives and thereby imply that all variable viscosity effects are accounted for. Some effects of the additional terms required to complete the formulation when variable viscosity flow is the given condition are documented.
