Stable compensation of nonlinear communications systems (using Volterra systems characterization), volume 2
Abstract
Using a mean-square IM criterion, a new approach for the reduction of intermodulation distortion is developed here. Advantages realized are: (1) reduction of IM distortion by 15 to 50 dB, (2) guaranteed stability of the compensator, (3)a minimum prespecified damping ration of the blocks of the nonlinear compensator. A design program based on the approach is also presented.
