Validation of reliability of fire extinguishers for medical pressure chambers
Abstract
During a fire in a medical pressure chamber when operated in the regular mode it is impossible to evacuate people, and the only way to save human lives is by extinguishing the fire. The level of reliability of fire extinguishers intended for pressure chamber is examined. In case of fire, the life of people in the chamber depends entirely on reliability of operation of the fire extinguisher. The reliability of equipment, including fire extinguishers, depends on the cost. By regulating the reliability of its cost is also regulated. At the present time no standards are set for parameters of reliability of equipment which protects people from the hazards of a fire.
