Vector calculation of particle code
Abstract
The development of a vector calculation for the particle code requires modification of the algorithm. Like many such algorithms, the particle code is an example of one which has suffered damage when fed into a supercomputer due to the danger of recurrent data processing. An algorithm is proposed which will liberate the particle code from recurrent calculations. It should be noted that the method may depend on the architecture of the supercomputer, i.e., it works well on the FACOM VP-100 and VP-200 computers, i.e., the indirect data accessing must be vectorized and the speed should be fast.
