Modern high-precision timekeeping
Abstract
The incorporation of hydrogen masers into timekeeping systems and the availability of commercial stored ion devices, and how they will affect timekeeping are discussed. Data on the performance of time transfer systems used to intercompare geographically separated clocks are presented.
