Radiometric propagation experiments in tropical regions
Abstract
In order to reduce the data gap for tropical regions propagation prediction models, INTELSAT instituted a 12 GHz radiometric measurement campaign in tropical, high rainfall rate regions. Results from two experiments indicate that there may be considerable differences between temperate and tropical climates in the prediction of single-site and diversity gain statistics.
