Magnet power supply control of the NSLS VUV and X-ray storage rings transfer lines
Abstract
The transfer lines for NSLS VUV and X-ray storage rings have been split. New power supplies have been incorporated with existing cones. The existing microprocessor system has been upgraded in order to control the additional functions. This system expands the input/output port of the microprocessor to an addressable serial/parallel link to each magnet power supply. The implementation of this system will be discussed.
