Laser Raman techniques for gas phase fluid dynamics and combustion research
Abstract
The feasibility of time and space resolved gas-concentration and temperature measurements using spontaneous Raman scattering and coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy is discussed for some typical applications in environmental, flow, and combustion research. Several different laser systems are discussed in terms of time and space resolution in connection with measurement accuracy.
