Handbook for marine geotechnical engineering. Deep ocean technology
Abstract
This handbook discusses the application of engineering techniques and scientific knowledge to the investigation of sea-floor materials, their characteristics, and their responses to foundation and mooring loads. Its primary thrust is with problems engineers will encounter beyond the continental shelf or below 600 feet, but the information is also applicable to shallow water tasks.
